Thyl is a lonely giant. He lives peacefully in a desert near a tree and a fountain. One day, he is driven from his home by a rain of stones and above all by one particular stone, gigantic, subhuman, which crushed his tree and made his fountain dry up. Thyl began to wander and everywhere he went they told him of the damage done by this great stone which was soon nicknamed "The Terror". Thyl could do nothing. He was a giant and yet he felt powerless. more

In the Baghdad night, a young boy called Naamane breaks into the house of Yazid the magician to steal his riches. Unfortunately for him, he is caught by the magician and, as punishment, is forced to stay in his service for a year. Naamane doesn´t really have a choice; he accepts. Yazid forbids Naamane from leaving his room at night but the latter, naturally, disobeys and by doing so meets, on the terrace of the house, a young girl with whom he falls madly in love. Lost in their love for each other, the young couple escape – to the magician´s anger for it is his daughter with whom Naamane has fallen in love. Can the magic of love triumph over Yazid´s magical powers?
