Christophe Dufossé
 
Biography

Christophe Dufossé was born in 1963 in the north of Paris. Following an incomplete Ph.D in comparative literature on Kundera and Don de Lillo, he taught literature in several secondary schools. At the age of 37, he completed his first novel, L'heure de la sortie which went on to win the French First Novel Prize in 2002. It was published by Heinemann in 2006 under the title School's out, translated by Shaun Whiteside. Since then, he has dedicated his life to writing and has published two further novels. In September 2006 he will go back to teaching.
